Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can. No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted. Inverness Foodstuff exists because of little pieces of kindness, care or time brought together to develop a robust organisation that delivers real and sustainable benefit. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and have a variety of life experiences.

Be a part of this vibrant community

There are many ways to support us – some we may not even have thought of yet! We are very grateful for the many volunteers who help us and we are always delighted to hear from people with innovative ideas to support our charity. You could help us in the kitchen or spend a bit of time with our participants – sometimes just having someone to talk to makes all the difference.

Some volunteers advise or work on specific issues or projects, while others fundraise through sponsored challenges or running events. We benefit from local schools choosing us as their nominated charity for the Philanthropy Programme, and producing fantastic presentations. Some young people maintain their link with us by volunteering, others do it as part of their Duke of Edinburgh or Saltire Awards challenge. So, if you have any ideas about how you could support us we would be delighted to hear from you!

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please complete our online  VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM. When you click on this link you will be taken to the MyImpact page. This is part of the Better Impact volunteer management software that enables our volunteers to sign up for shifts, get reminders about shifts, and access our documents (including instructions on how to use the app). You will be asked to provide a username (which can be your email address) and an email address. Once you complete this you will be able to access the online application form.
