The last year has been so challenging for everybody – and, so it would not be surprising if supporting a charity was not the most important issue for people. However, we have to say how thankful we are that, in the midst of the pandemic, so many people gave so much of their time, energy and support to Inverness Foodstuff. The generosity of the community and of our funders enabled us to extend our work and ensure that we were able to meet the increased demand for our services.
Nowhere has that generosity been more obvious than in the financial donations we have received from individuals. It was both amazing and very humbling to find that Inverness Foodstuff mattered so much to the residents in our local area.
Where we are able, we always try to thank individual donors – but if for some reason that has not happened – we just want to say a big thank you for your generosity from our Board of Trustees, our Staff and Volunteers, our Partners and, not least, from our Participants.
We would also like to thank the following charities, organisations and trusts that have supported us so well over this last year – and have ensured that, as well as funding our work this year, we are able to plan ahead for the future.
These include:
SCVO (Celebrating Communities and Community Well-being)
Highland Council – Common Good Fund
Highland Council – Ward Discretionary Fund
National Lottery
Crisis
Scotmid Coop
Corra Foundation
Go For It
The Robertson Trust
HTSI
HIE – the Communities Recovery Fund (on behalf of Scottish Government).
