Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.
No act of kindness, however small is ever wasted. Inverness foodstuff exists because of little pieces of kindness, care or time built together to develop a robust organisation that delivers real and sustainable benefit. Our volunteers come from all walks of life. And have a variety of life experiences.

Be part of this vibrant community – there are many ways to support us – some we may not even have thought of! We are very grateful for many volunteers who offer to help us –we are always delighted to hear from people with innovative ideas to support the charity. You could help us in the kitchen or spend a bit of time with our participants – sometimes just having someone to talk to makes all the difference.

Some volunteers advise or work on specific issues or projects – and others raise money by undertaking sponsored challenges or running events. We also have benefited by local schools choosing us as their nominated charity for the Philanthropy Programme – with all doing fantastic presentations. Some young people maintain their link with us by volunteering! Others do it as part of their Duke of Edinburgh or Saltire Awards challenge. So – if you have any ideas about how you may support us we would be delighted to hear from you!

The MyImpact page is part of the Better Impact volunteer management software we use which enables our volunteers to sign up for shifts via an app; get reminders about their shifts; access our document library (including detailed instruction on how to use the app) etc. You will be asked to provide a username (which can be your email address) and an email address. Once you complete this you will be able to access the online application form.
