OUR WORK
We believe …
That by creating an environment for friendship, food and support there is the potential for positive change.
Inverness Foodstuff is a vibrant community, centred around providing help, meals and company, for those who, in a variety of forms, face day to day challenges.
We are based at Ness Bank Church in Inverness and operate on three days a week. Anyone who feels they could benefit from a meal and/or the services available is very welcome to attend.
Participants are welcomed, accepted and heard – improving their wellbeing and sense of self-worth. We operate as a hub at which participants can access a range of services, supports and activities.
Services include:
> Highland Council Benefits and Housing Teams
> NHS Harm Reduction Service and Dental Team
> NHS Health Improvement Nurse, Vulnerable Groups
> NHS Nurse Practitioner for the Homeless
> A local hairdresser
> Oxfam
> Highland Foodbank
> Employability Mentoring Service
> Street Pastors
